Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data Streamer Scaler uses, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Data controller
Matthew Jaksevicius, operating Streamer Scaler from 51 Beresford Hill Dromore, is the controller of personal data described in this notice. Contact us at jakseviciusmatthew@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, profile image, provider identifiers and authentication records.
- Twitch data: channel profile, followers, streams, videos, clips, categories and schedule information available through authorised Twitch APIs.
- Billing data: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status and billing dates. We do not store full card numbers.
- Service data: goals, reports, notifications, settings, security logs and support communications.
- Technical data: IP address and request information used for security, fraud prevention and operational logs.
3. Why we use data
We process account, Twitch and subscription data because it is necessary to provide the service and perform our contract with you. We process security and limited operational data for our legitimate interests in protecting, maintaining and improving the service. Where the law requires consent for a specific activity, we will request it separately.
4. Automated insights
Streamer Scaler derives scores and recommendations from imported channel history. These insights support your planning but do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
5. Who receives data
We use service providers including Twitch for authorised channel data, Google and Twitch for sign-in, Stripe for billing, Supabase for database hosting, and Vercel for application hosting and operational delivery. These providers process data under their own terms and applicable data-protection obligations.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us if you would like more information about safeguards relevant to your data.
7. Retention
We keep account and imported analytics data while your account is active. Following account closure, we aim to delete or anonymise service data within 90 days unless it must be retained for security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Stripe retains payment records under its own legal obligations. Security logs are retained only for a proportionate operational period.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law and the processing basis, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise a right, email jakseviciusmatthew@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Your right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the processing for legal claims.
9. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are in the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
10. Security and updates
We use access controls, encrypted authentication tokens, signed webhooks, secure connections and other technical safeguards. No online system is risk-free. We review this notice when our processing changes and will communicate material updates where appropriate.
